Michele has been doing hair for almost two decades. Most of those years were spent in Southern California where she truly honed her technical and creative skills. With years of on-going education, including training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica and The Paint Box in Brooklyn, she has made a point to keep herself on the cutting edge of trends. She also just got back from an amazing, extensive class at the Nine Zero One Salon in Hollywood, Ca. She learned all the current techniques in highlighting, low lighting and rooting for a beautiful natural look.

Whether it be natural hi-lites, bold color or the current ombre, she can find the balance that best suits you and your lifestyle. One of her favorite techniques is hair painting, a form of balayage. With hair painting, we can achieve anything from a soft natural sombre look to a dramatic color. As for cutting, she really finds a true sense of synchronicity there. From precision cutting, soft lines and strong structure to textured and layered hair with endless movement, Michele will find what works best for you. She loves to be inspired by things around her to create personalized looks that emphasize your strongest features or even bring out the unique you. Quirks and all.

She wants hair to look current, effortless and always fresh.

Nearly 10 years ago, Nicole May decided being a hair stylist was the career path she wanted to take because of the many areas that are included in the beauty industry like melding art with fashion and the freedom of creativity. A true people person at heart, she loves getting to know her clients. This allows her to better suit their hair cut and color to each individual's lifestyle. Education is very important to her as she continues to grow and learn new techniques. Recently, Nicole attended the highly acclaimed 901 Academy, which was started by Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood, California, where she learned the newest coloring and high lighting techniques. The owners of Nine Zero One, Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee, are best known for their beautiful lived in color techniques that you can see on their clients like Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev.
